On the huge plus side, they always ask what I’m working on and have the good grace to appear both excited and deeply awed by my response. It makes me feel special and a girl can really never get too much of that. So I’ll take the rah-rah and figure out the toilet scrubbing and wine payments for myself, simply because my friends are so much better at making me feel positive and special than I am myself.
