SS: Short is better. My screenplay is only six pages long I think. But it says all that it needs to say. When I first adapted the short story I was adding scenes and character plots and stuff to try to make it longer. But when I came back to it in November I had to realize that the story said all that it needed to. Keep it small and don’t give away every little detail of the screenplay. That’s how you catch a person’s attention. If you leave all these questions in your audiences mind then that’s the story they’re gonna remember and come back to. Continue reading
