Time to submit? easy! CONTEST DEADLINE: September 30, 2012
1 – go to our facebook page.
-find the timeline(wall) on our facebook page and click to post on our wall.
-click the option to upload a photo or video ( you will be uploading your video) no youtube or vimeo links allowed. We can only allow facebook video submissions at this time. Please title the video with your name so you can easily identify it on our wall.
2 - the video upload should take several minutes and you will be notified once it’s complete. Please click on this link, copy the link from the address bar. This step is very important! You will need the URL for the next step.
- Email yourself this URL, since you will need it again at the end of the contest!
3 – Visit our website again and fill out the online form from the Director Search tab, paste in the copied URL in the appropriate field, fill in the remaining information AND YOU’RE DONE!
4 - The top 25 most “shared” videos will be viewed by our industry judges. The more shares the video has, the better the chances it has! You can check out our past CSSC judges for an idea of who they will be, including literary agents, broadcast executives, feature film directors and producers.
5 – We want this to be an indie filmmaking community that encourages eachother so please, check out the other submitted videos. If you like the director’s work, then share with your friends. You can find the other videos in the “posts by others” section on our timeline.
6 – We will be showcasing videos from time to time on our website, facebook page, twitter account. so check back often to see how your video can be showcased or to see if your video has already been picked as a showcased entry.
